Ingredients:
1 ½ C Water
2 C Sugar
16 oz Cranberries, fresh
2 ea Orange, zested, juiced
2 ea Green Apple, peeled and medium diced
½ C Cider vinegar
½ C Raisins, golden
½ t Cinnamon
¼ t Ginger, ground
¼ t Allspice, ground
⅛ t Cloves, ground
Method:
1. In a medium size heavy bottom sauce pot add all the ingredients.
2. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking on the bottom.
3. Remove cover and turn down to low and simmer for additional 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Mixture should begin to thicken, pour chutney into a heat proof bowl and allow to cool.
5. Cover and refrigerate for up to 6 days.
