For brides and grooms (or any party planners) seeking a luxurious, historical space with a Pittsburgh twist, Kingfly Spirits in the Strip District is a dream.
A craft distillery, cocktail bar and events venue, Kingfly Spirits is housed in a meticulously restored, 11,000-square-foot carriage house that was built more than a century ago. Shortly after the venue opened in 2019, it won a Pennsylvania Historic Preservation award for the authentic restoration that took it from urban horse stable to sleek distillery.
Beyond its standout design, Francesca Jackson, events manager at Kingfly Spirits, says the staff is dedicated to providing warm, wrap-around hospitality for every event hosted at the venue.
Along with a full-bar service — including craft cocktails, wine, beer and spirit-free offerings — Kingfly Spirits offers furniture, AV, a catering kitchen, staging and sound for all events. The venue also can host up to 280 guests.
“We pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for event magic, with a team committed to offering attentive, flexible and professional services to bring your vision to life,” Jackson says.
Throughout the years, Kingfly has partnered with Bistro to Go on many gatherings — and they’ve all been a success, according to Jackson.
“Working with them is a dream,” she says. “Having partnered on numerous events, their team is familiar with our space, our staff and the general flow of our events.”
Thanks to the mutual experience and respect shared between Kingfly Spirits and Bistro, Jackson says their mutual clients experience streamlined communication and a sense of ease whenever they book the venue.
“With a shared commitment to excellence, both teams understand what it takes to deliver an unforgettable and delicious event, and we achieve this together,” she says.
